Vacation (by Annie)

Well we started school again today, it was kind of nice even though we had a really nice vacation. I had a lot of fun shopping for gifts for every body else. Then about a week before Christmas we were going to do book and game Christmas, but the books weren't here yet, so we did game Christmas instead. That night we each got to open up matching presents, and they all turned out to be a Wii gaming system! But there was just one problem, we had all the parts to the Wii, but no TV to play it on. That's when our parents told us it was some where in plain sight, so naturally we conducted a thorough search of the house, but we still couldn't find it, that's when I went out to the trailer in the back yard and there sitting on the couch was a 42" plasma screen TV! We then spent the rest of the evening playing on the Wii. The books got here on the following Tuesday so that night we did book Christmas. I got a lot of really nice books, including the Iliad and Odyssey, and a biography on C. S. Lewis. Then on Christmas I got a lot of very nice gifts, including the souvenir DVDs form the international pathfinder camporee, and a Life is Good shirt. All in all I had a very nice Christmas break.
