Another writing asignment

Right now in  our writing program we are working on reports about a person from the Revolutionary War. I have chosen to write about Molly Pitcher, because I think that the women who fought in the war don't get enough credit. Molly was an amazing woman who, when her husband was wounded in a battle, took up his position at the cannon he was helping to man. The battle was do fierce that at one point, a cannon ball flew right between Molly's legs, taking part of her skirt with it. She and many other women helped fight the war in many different ways, and I think that they don't get enough credit for it.
