Just a quick note to share our exciting news. We finally heard back on the trailer and it's assigned value. We were concerned that it would come in at less than what we owe and we would still end up paying another couple thousand to retire that debt (we didn't have gap insurance in it). Turns out we had REPLACEMENT VALUE insurance on the RV!!!! That means we will receive about $7000 MORE than what we own on the trailer and be able to pay it off and have money left over to purchase a replacement vehicle with cash (not an RV, a mini Van for me to drive, instead of the truck) and not have payments on it!!
We received a GENEROUS gift at church last week, and it enabled us to put some of our own money with it and purchase a 20 year old Volvo for Lon last Sunday evening, so he has something to drive back and forth to Nashville in every week.
So, God has turned two rather large, 'underwater' debts into potentially two owned-free-and-clear vehicles and no payments to make any more!! Insurance will be MUCH lower too. What an AWESOME God we serve!!!
